Horace Carlisle and his brother Morris Carlisle pulling the newly built weigh building to the cotton gin. The cotton gin that is still standing today was built in 1918 so this photograph had to be taken around that time. Both brothers had a mule team. You can see the building that is still standing today in the background as well as the top peak of the Kopperl Bank.


The Original Rush Drug Store. George Lane is sitting on the early motorcycle. Mr. Rush is on the far left in the black vest. This photo was taken around 1918. You can see the window of the Kopperl Bank to the right of the drug store.


This flowing well flowed for many years in Kopperl just near the Methodist Church. You can see the Kopperl Bank in the background. This photograph was taken around 1920.


This photograph shows Carol Hill in front of the Kopperl Bank. Carol was the daughter of Floyd & Velma who owned Hill's Grocery in Kopperl. This photograph was taken around 1956.


A very old General Store in Kopperl. This store was located in the concrete building that is directly across the street from the Kopperl Fire Department. Several businesses moved in and out of this building throughout the years.


This is a photo from the 1950s of the W. F. Day General Store. This building is still standing downtown Kopperl.


This is Floyd Hill's (Sleepy) second general store and was located in the concrete building that is still standing directly across from the Fire Department. You can see the Kopperl Train Depot in the background.
